So...What's there to do? 

PLENTY!

Begin by coming to FUZED on Thursday Nights from 6:45 pm to 8:30 pm in The Bridge.  FUZED is a high energy time for students grades 6-12 with video games, a cafe, foosball, air hockey, ping pong, other games and great worship lead by one of our student praise teams, Youth Choir performances, and a great message to help you deal with teen issues and problems.  Fuzed is for real people with real problems looking for real answers.

Your next stop is to come to Fuel on Sunday Mornings.  Fuel group (Sunday School) will help you connect with a group of students your age to learn the Bible and help you live for Jesus.  Fuel groups do mission/ministry projects once per semester.

Sandals Discipleship Groups: For those really wanting to grow and mature into a servant-leader for Jesus Christ.  This is a time for you to connect deeply with 4-5 other students and a mature adult believer to grow as a Christian and become a servant leader.

Koinonia - Students get together Sunday night just to have fun, eat, play and have a short devotion.  High School students meet in a home, Middle School students meet at the church or a home for a wacky time together!  Dates and times are announced in Fuel and Fuzed.

YPAC , which stands for Youth Performing Arts Choir, also meets on Sunday evenings.  YPAC members perform a Fall and Spring musical with mime, dance, drama, solo's and of course - choir songs.  Check out this link for more info:

Souled Out Summer Mission Camp

Cost:  $125  Due in March! 

Registration opens in March—place Deposit of $50 due in Student Ministry envelope and put in Student Ministry Drop Box in The Crossing!

You will have a chance to serve Jesus by doing VBS, constructions, drama, sports camp, music, Bible clubs, block parties, and more!!

 

Student Leadership University 101

Orlando, Florida.  July 13 – 18.  Student Leadership University 101 is designed to give our students a 20 year head start in leadership skills.  For more information go to:  www.studentleadership.net.  Registration Due March 2nd  - $100

 

Student Leadership Univesity 201

Washington DC, July 14 – 18.  Students will understand the Christian foundations of our nation as never before as they not only hear great speakers but experience our nations capitol.  For more information go to www.studentleadership.net.  Registration Due March 2nd  - $100.  Must be a SLU 101 alumni to attend SLU 201.

MissionChallenge Week

June 23rd – 27th.  This is the most extreme, challenging, competitive event we do all year long.  Get ready to be challenged as you have an opportunity to be challenged as you serve in local missions in the Richmond metro area during the day AND/OR come at night for a competitive  challenge!  Better get your rest ahead of time because this is winner take all competition.

 

Bridge renovations update:  The process of getting final blue prints, building permits, etc. is well underway.  It looks like Spring break may be the time we demo the Bridge. 

 

The Bridge will include worship space for 200+, rooms for groups with total combined capacity of 234, a café, video games, table games, board games, music videos, and more.  It will be a great place to grow in Christ, bring your friends, and relax too!
